When Jesus gets riled up, he doesn't pull any punches! Legalism had a way of making his blood boil...and for good reason! Paul's fan club really didn't want to see him go, but they knew what God placed on his heart and he was prepared to be obedient to the Master. And wow, the Israelites had NO patience! I can't imagine that the Golden Calf Tea that Moses made them drink tasted very good. Maybe if it was on the Rocks?

Sometimes saying goodbyes to friends can be the hardest thing, especially when you have bonded with them over Jesus! Paul could have found a comfy apartment and retired, but God had other plans for him and he was obedient to the call on his heart. We have another well known passage today with Jesus walking on the water and Peter jumping out to meet him. I bet it was that childlike faith that got him out of the boat and walking those first few steps. I pray we all have a little bit more of that.

How cool would it have been to be chilling on a beach and listening to Jesus tell stories? I bet people had a hard time breaking away and going back to their normal life after an encounter with him. And as we close today in Exodus, we are in the thick of some pretty crazy laws by our standards. If there is a test I sure hope it's multiple-choice!! Why did they need these? Are these really necessary? How many of these laws do we still use today? Find out more on today's Journey Through The Message!

Have you ever wanted to leave somewhere but you felt God keeping you there? What is He trying to teach you? Paul wanted to leave Corinth, but after an encouraging message in a dream, he decided to stay and what resulted was nothing short of a miracle. As we finish up today in Exodus, we see how quickly the Israelites forget about the harsh conditions of slavery when they get a little hungry or thirsty. Personally, I would rather be hungry any day before being a slave or going back to that. See how God shows up at just the right time on today's Journey Through The Message!

Black Magic! That's what the Pharisees thought Jesus had up his sleeve as he performed miracles and set people free. What would we think of Jesus today if he came back and was doing the same things? Then we have Paul who is visiting the Athenians and sees a shrine to the God Nobody Knows. Well, guess what, Paul knows this God and he is going to tell them about him! And we end today with a pretty amazing miracle that allowed the Israelites to escape the Egyptians and move into the promised land. Buckle up, put your goggles on, and lets Journey Through The Message!
