While John the Baptizer is in jail, he starts hearing reports about what Jesus is doing, but it doesn't look like what he expected. Is Jesus acting like what you would expect him to? And did you know that Moses' Egyptian wife saved his life? God almost killed him for being disobedient - uh oh! It's all here in another action-packed journey through the Message.

Jesus breaks it down and says to just start small, by offering someone a cool drink of water... This is revolutionary! Brings me back to the days of sales training where they tell you the KISS method - Keep It Simple Stupid! I bet God shakes His head at us sometimes how we try to muddy things up. Today is the first day of Exodus and the drama from Genesis is just as big here. See how God is in every little detail with us on today's Journey through the Message!

I love witnessing BOLD faith. Faith that says, "If I can just put a finger on his robe, I'll get well." Faith that says, "My daughter just died, but if you will come and touch her, she will live." It is another action-packed day, Heidi may cry again, and hear a challenge from an atheist on sharing your faith!

I love that Jesus' guest list included people that society looked for reasons to throw away or not have anything to do with. He welcomed them to His table to just simply be in His presence. And as we travel back to the OT, we get to witness a beautiful reunion of a father and son who never though this day would come.

After surviving a stormy night at sea, the disciples watch as Jesus heals 2 demon-possessed men, but the local pig farmers weren't too pleased losing their entire herd! I am sure this was the beginning formation of PETA lol. Meanwhile, Peter is stuck outside of a door playing the knock-knock game after breaking out of prison because they can't believe it's him. And Joseph's brothers finally realize who their brother is and Israel...still dramatic. Some great stories today in this Journey Through the Message!
