The Hole That Never Fills – Starving the "More Monster" (Proverbs 27) 🕳️🚫
We all know that feeling. The hunger that doesn't go away. The voice that whispers, "Just one more." One more drink. One more drug. One more hit. One more hustle. Proverbs 27:20 (MSG) diagnoses this condition perfectly: "Hell has a big appetite and can never have enough, and human eyes are never satisfied." If you are trying to fill a spiritual hole with a physical substance, you are pouring water into a bucket with no bottom. The "More Monster" will eat until you are dead. Recovery is realizing that you can't fill the hole—you have to heal it.
Today on Day 27, we are walking through Proverbs 27. We’re talking about the unfillable void, the value of painful truth, and the friction of friendship.
In this video, we cover:
✅ Faithful Wounds: Why "the wounds from a lover are faithful" and why you need friends who will hurt your feelings to save your life (v. 6).
✅ Sparks Fly: Why "steel sharpens steel" and why you can't get sharp without a little friction (v. 17).
✅ The Bottomless Pit: Why human eyes are never satisfied and how to finally stop feeding the monster (v. 20). If you are tired of being hungry, come find some real food.
