Don't Be Stupid – Why We Hate Correction (Proverbs 12) 🧠🚫
Body: Okay, don't get mad at me. I didn't write it. Solomon did.
Proverbs 12:1 says: "Whoever loves discipline loves knowledge, but whoever hates correction is stupid."
That is the NIV translation, and it doesn't pull any punches. In active addiction, we were allergic to correction. If you told us to slow down, we sped up. If you told us we had a problem, we attacked you. We defended our "right" to be wrong until it almost killed us.
Today on Day 12, we are getting honest about why we hate advice—and why refusing to listen is the quickest way to stay stuck.
In this video, we’re breaking down: ✅ The difference between "Knowledge" and "Stupidity" (it's about the ego). ✅ Words like Swords: Are you using your mouth to heal people or stab them? (v. 18). ✅ The Anxiety Cure: How a kind word can lift the heaviest weight (v. 25).
If you are ready to drop the ego and actually learn something, this one is for you.
